Unhappy at work...

I'm not very happy with my current new job as the politics at workplace is critically bad. My manageress spoke to me that she doesn't want them to lengthen my probation period neither she wants me to be out of the company. She heard some rumors about me and told me not to ask the lady who handing the job scope to me anymore but to ask her directly. She wants to refrain people from gossiping of me and also to give a chance for me to prove my ability for the works.

The manageress even said, she will sit next to me and do the work together with me for the next OT and incentives. I'm glad to have a nice manageress and pray hard to prove my capabilities too. She doesn't like me to be with someone who gives bad influence but she doesn't mind for causal chat as having a friend is better than getting an enemy. I strongly agreed with her.

The manageress explained that checking my works do not mean she's monitoring me but to help me out and she advised me to cooperate with her so she can protect me. Well, I will definately cooperate with her and hoep she's really a wonderful manageress too.

A message of concern

My previous supervisor, jasmine sent me a mobile message. 'Working? Happy Holiday'. I knew her concern is hoping I'll get a job and I replied her, 'knock off already. Happy holiday too, enjoy yourself'.

2nd day of work...

As usual I was understudying Jane and she taught me on entering new items into the item database, checking/calculating of consignment note. She advised me to use excel spreadsheet for the calcuation but I failed to use it in the proper way. Thereafter, she shown it to me and it took her within 10mins to complete the whole process. I impressed on her so much and I kept on laughing at it.

I signed my appointment letter today for probation period and gotten my temporary pass too. The HR personnel given me two slips, one for bank account number and the other one for pre-employment check-up within two weeks. The HR personnel advised me to get a brief description letter from the doctor about my medical condition however, I requested her to check with the insurance company if they required before getting the letter.

I found this job pretty challenging and plenty of new things for me to explore.

First day of new work...

Today is my first day of new work and I am going to take over Jane Ho's job scope and she will be transferring to the IT dept. She has been guiding me for the whole day and she has covered most of the job scope like, Recording of Medical leave/Annual leave or unpaid leave into the database, Ordering of stationary including, logbook, copier paper and service request form, collecting of despatches from the 3rd level, distributing of faxes and mails, etc...

Though the job scope may be boring and similiar to what I used to do but it's a good start to start more than last time.

New job for tomorrow

Tomorrow will be my first day for new job. I'm so excited over it. Things will be different from what I used to do as this time I will be in private sector instead.

I'm rather concern if I'm able to co-operate with my colleagues or am I used to the environment as this time I'll be working in an open concept. It's a new start on new job scope and it's time for new knowledge.
